15th April
Simon sailing around the world to raise money
Simon says "I've just completed my refresher training (I didn't heave which was fab) & leave for Seattle on the 22nd April where I'll be joining my boat - Visit Seattle - sponsored by the city. Then we start our race on April 29th down to Panama. I'm both nervous & excited but not looking forward to the watch system - basically you are on/off watch every 3/4 hours so the maximum sleep you can get is maybe about 2 hours at a time & you get woken up (when the boat tacks so that you have to move to a high side bunk). I'm such a wuss!". Please support him and help him raise some much needed funds for Unicef UK.
